The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Paul Kunkle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Sharyn Mallow Woerz
Condolence: I haven't seen Paul since the night we graduated from high school, but just wanted to tell his family that as Kunkle/Mallow I was destined to sit behind him through all our years of school. He had a habit of leaving way back with his arms stretched up high and I'd whack him on the head with my pencil :) Was probably his way of staying awake. Funny the things we remember.

Holding you all in the pocket of my heart, Sharyn

Condolence: Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss. Paul was just the nicest man. I so enjoyed working with him at the port. I can't imagine how lost you must feel right now. 44 years married has given you so many cherished memories. May they help to sustain you and the boys in the coming months and years ahead. My condolences.

Condolence: Nancy and kids,
Paul was a special man to you, his family but he was also a wonderful friend who loved many. Paul was always having a deal in the making..I think bartering was so woven into who he was! He would help anyone and was always looking for a way to help. How many times did he jump right in with whatever people in camp dreamt up to do for fun, recreation, or just a laugh. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. I miss his smile. Know we are thinking of you all. You, and all of us have lost a special man.
