The music "Beatles" and hours and hours of listening to his music collection with him. The sports; hunting, fishing, clam digging, bowling, softball, auto racing, pool, all came from my time wanting to be like Bob. I can remember specific days, when Hank Aaron broke Babe Ruth's home run record, I was sitting with Bob watching the game. When he coached our softball team, Custom Shake & Shingle, to the 1985 Grays Harbor Softball Championship; knocking off the 15 year perennial champions, being the leader on our Grays Harbor Bowling Championship. The countless hours of playing sports with Bob and learning along the way, that I could never beat Bob, as hard as I tried; and he was a good brother, not letting me win, it made me better. The time when I "thought" I was was good at pool and he beat me 100-0 and he gave me the best advice, "you have to learn to rackem before you crackem." All the days out hunting and fishing, those are the best memories I have of my brother.
Who am I? Everything I've learned, and "who I am" is because of you and I will be forever greatful. You you will always be in my hear and memories.
One last thing, the deer of the Pacific Northwest are smiling today, the "deer slayer" is resting in a peaceful place and no longer coming for you.
