David

Dad, Thank you for being our hero! You spent your days making sure that we all had a great life. You taught us how to work for things that we wanted. You taught us how to appreciate what we had, not complain about what we didn't have. You went to work whether you were sick or hurting, to make sure your family was provided for. You never complained when the chips were down and your joints were giving out, you just got them replaced and started a new chapter in your life. You never had to tell anyone how much pride you had in us kids, it was written all over your face. You were very proud of each of us and we knew it! We are very proud of you! The girls were so lucky to grow up next door to you and be such a big part of your life, and you were a big part of theirs. You took them to piano lessons, you went to their recitals, you went to their swimming lessons even if they weren't as good as your swimming lessons. You attended all of their school plays, and many of their sporting events. But most important is that you taught them to waterski like only you could. Your pride will live on through your great grandson too. It won't be long before Dylan is skiing with his grandpa and you can be assured, that when that day happens, we will both look up to the sky with the biggest grin on our faces, give you the biggest wave ever, and say "Thank You Dad/Grandpa/Great Grandpa" "WE LOVE YOU"
