I am going to miss my grandfather. He was a very special man. We all have a person or persons that we wish we could have known better and he is mine. I have some very fond memories with him like when I was a kid and we took him out on a deep sea fishing boat in the gulf of Mexico. Also when he came down to Texas and we went to the San Antonio Riverwalk with me and my children. But it was hard living so far away, and yet every time I was around him it felt comfortable. He was a man's man and a caring man. I will miss you Dan and I am sorry I did not make time in my life to know you more. I love you and I hope and pray that I become half of what I saw in you.
