Condolences

Condolence From: William Linnenkohl
Condolence: To Jacque, Jim and Jeff Ellis,

I am very sorry that I was unable to attend Aunt Laura's Memorial Service this past Sat. I got back from Brett's wedding in Florida late last Wed. night and turned right around and left for Salt Lake City on Thursday morning at 6:00. I had several business meetings to attend and the biggest was on Sat. at 10-1:00. I just got back late last night. I will be sending in a check from my children and me in her honor and memory to the Linnenkohl Family Scholarship at Grays Harbor College Foundation. Laura was a very strong and intelligent woman and all my kids and I admired her greatly. She was always upbeat and positive even though you could tell that she was suffering greatly. She did the best she could with her M.S. and was always up to date with my kid's and my doings.

Jacque, you did a great job in helping to care for her and taking her to all the festivities, the games, events and doctor's appointments. I know what it is like to be a caregiver and you did a wonderful job and were very patient and diligent.

I'm sure there is a great reunion up in heaven with her dad Ernest C. and brother and my dad Ernie, as well as my mom Betty and Vikki. I'm sure she is having fun with her best friend as well (Francis) and others who have passed before her. She lived a long and fruitful life and now is suffering no more. It still is so hard when it happens though. I've been there too much and it has affected me greatly.

Please accept my sincere condolences. My kids send their condolences as well. By txt Brett said, "she was so full of life, sorry to hear that she passed." Alex said, "Sad to hear about Aunt Laura. She was the best!" Kyla was there at the memorial and brought Jamie's condolences as well.

Take care,

Bill

Condolence: We are so thankful that Laura came into our lives even if it was for only a short 5 years. Laura was a delight. She was loving, witty, and always had time for a game in Rummikub. We so enjoyed our visits with her and getting to know about her life. We admire her strong will and not letting things get in her way of enjoying life. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family. We will miss you Laura.

Condolence: Laura, with her tender-hearted ways, took me in - just one of her renters - and treated me as family many years ago. I was privileged to hear her Dad's amazing stories of his childhood, and listen to Laura's own adventures of her early years. I enjoyed getting to know her kids
that she raised so well. I will always have a special place in my heart for Laura and her family.

Condolence: I always remember growing up hanging around with Jeff and Laura treating me like a member of the family. I have great memories of the Hardware store and all the gang that worked there. She was an amazing woman, who lived it her way. I'm glad I was able to make a few birthday parties and talk on the phone in recent years. RIP, my condolences to Jeff, Jim & Jacque.

Condolence: Family does strange things at times. I knew Aunt Laura when she was married to my Dad's brother, my Uncle Bill. After Uncle Bill and Aunt Laura divorced my family did not have contact with Aunt Laura or the kids. That turned out to be my loss. Later on I was fortunate to reconnect with Aunt Laura and found her to be a witty, good natured, engaging woman with a sharp sense of justice and a great sense of humor. I am saddened that she is gone and that I missed so much time that could have been spent knowing her better.
