Condolence: To my dear friend, Terry, oh how I miss you! If I could talk to you one more time I would be sure that you really knew how loyal a friend you have been for the majority of my life. We first met when I was only 21; you and my best girlfriend , Emma Lou were not much older. All of our lives changed in many ways throughout the years marriages ended in divorce or death, children grew up and left us alone, but through it all, you were always around when I needed a friend to listen to me and even sometimes provide assistance. There are two very clear memories that reprsent you abilty to be compassionate. The first is when you cheerfully agreed to become the court appointed supervisor of Kate and Craig when they had visitation with their Dad. It really put you in an akward position because you and he were good friends, but you did it and did it well. The second is on the day we paid our last respects to Larry. As the ex-wife in a bitter divorce, I was an outcast by most at the services with exception of my own family. Somehow you know that despite the the later years, that I had loved this man and was feeling the loss. As the Taps was being played you reached out and took my hand. We had our disagreements and sometimes you made me so angry I swore I would never speak to you again, and likewise. But to have been able to call you friend in every sense of the wor and knowing we had each other's back is a gift I will ever cherich. Farewell Terry and may you be forever have "Fair winds and following seas"
