Anne Wallace, 59, Hoquiam resident and office manager at Hometown Sanitation in Hoquiam, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at her home.
Anne was born in Moscow, Idaho to Richard Dewitt and Patricia (Parks) Hainlin on July 18, 1955. Her family moved to Kennewick where she attended Kamiakin High School. She moved to Aberdeen in 1985 and then to Hoquiam in 1991.
She started her own accounting company, “Anne’s Bookkeeping” and did the books for various companies around the harbor, including Papac Logging and Harborina Roller Rink. For the last 10 years she has been the office manager at Hometown Sanitation.
Anne was a huge Seahawks fan and also liked to watch the Mariners. She was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time with her daughter, son-in-law and grandson.
Anne is survived by her daughter, Cassandra (Ali) Thomas of Everett; and three brothers, Scott (Marge) Laidlaw of Bellingham, Kirk (Chris) Wallace of Grants Pass, OR and Mark (Betsy) Wallace of Spokane, WA; and one grandson, Isaiah Thomas of Everett.
A celebration of Anne’s life will take place at a time and date yet to be determined.
