Juliette R. Tolomei, 93, loving Mother, Beloved Best Friend, passed on Saturday, April 2, 2011.
Juliette was born on September 13, 1917 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Julius and Anna Sjoblom. She had two sisters, Gladys Callesen, and Shirley Floodstrom.
She was employed at the Chair Factory, Harbor Thriftway Bakery, and was head baker girl at Safeway for many years until her retirement from there.
She married Lee P. Tolomei on August 12, 1944. They were married for almost 60 years.
Juliette loved camping, fishing, clam digging, her vegetable and flower gardens, casino trips, Mariner Baseball, Seahawk Football, her beloved pets, and all her grandkids who were the apple of her eye.
Survivors include, sons: Gary Yurkas, Ron and wife Barb Tolomei, Mike and wife Carol Tolomei. Daughters: Barbara Tolomei, and Julie and husband Billy Swor. Grandchildren: Gary Yurkas Jr., LeAnn Yurkas-Hull, Paula Jones, Angela Tolomei, Kristin Dizol, Sarah Crocker, Barry Tolomei, Brandon Johnson, Kyle Swor, Cody Swor, and Jillian Swor. There are also 20 Great Grandchildren, and her beloved cats Bree and Kit Kat.
Juliette was preceded in death by her Parents, Her husband Lee, Daughter-in-law Carol Yurkas, one Great Grandson, her sister Gladys Callesen, and her beloved dog Maggie.
