William Sweet

William Michael “Bill” Sweet was born on August 10, 1955, and died August 10, 2024,

surrounded by his family. Bill worked many jobs, but was a commercial fisherman for most of

his life. He had a great love of the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He always told the best

stories, and had an infectious smile. He loved his family and friends most of all and will sorely

be missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pat; mom, dad, older brother, and niece. Bill

is survived by his step-sons; Ron (Jen) Wood, of Fort Collins, Colorado; Anson (Marcie) Wood,

of Gig Harbor, Washington; sister, Cheryl (Al) Axton, of Westport, Washington; brother, Jack

(Kerri) Sweet, of Westport, Washington; sister-in-law, Jan Sweet, of Westport; grandchildren:

Drake and Brianne Wood, of Colorado; niece, Rachelle (Dan) Springer, of Las Vegas, Nevada;

nephew, Trevor Sweet, of Westport, Washington; and great-nephew, Jackson Springer, of Las

Vegas, Nevada.

A celebration of life is being planned for the end of September 2024, and will

be held at the Sweet Family Home. Details will be announced at a later date. Please leave a
