Tommy Ray Stutesman, 44, lifetime Aberdeen resident and owner of Tom’s Auto Body & Repair, died Monday, October 14, 2013 at his home in Hoquiam.
Tom was born on June 23, 1969 in Aberdeen to Denny Ray and Kathy Jo (Emery) Stutesman. He attended school in Aberdeen and would hang out at Douglas Danielson’s Portway Garage on W. Market, from the age of 13 where he learned how to fix and repair cars. He worked there for many years. He then went to work for Richardson’s Auto Body where he learned how to do the specialty painting required on custom cars. Four years ago, Tom went out on his own and started Tom’s Auto Body & Repair.
Tom loved to work and paint cars with his brother Bob and listen to Rock n’ Roll.
Tom is survived by three sons: Tommy, Cody and Zachary Stutesman and a stepson, Alex McGlone all of Olympia; mother and stepdad, Kathy and Craig Nelson of Hoquiam, a brother Robert and wife Cindy Stutesman of Hoquiam, a sister Debra and husband Levi Sanchez of Hoquiam and a half sister, Jenny Peters in T.
A celebration of Tom’s life will take place at 2pm, Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Central Park Neighborhood Church.
