David Rhodes

David Alan Rhodes (Bruffett} age 33, Long time resident of Hoquiam, died June 16th 2019

He was born Jan 28th 1986 in Seattle WA to Debra Kounkel and Marvin Rhodes.

Around the age of 5 David moved with his mother and step father Wade Bruffett to Hoquiam.

David attended the Hoquiam school district with honor roll credits, he was involved in many sports through his school years, Football, Baseball, Basketball. Other sports he enjoyed were bowling, skating. He was also a long-time member of the BSA.

In 2005 David joined the Labor Union 252 and 276 and about the same time he met Kim Gilbert and they had a beautiful daughter Riley.

David continued his education taking classes in Psychology, Physiology. David later attended GHCC in Computer and Business.

David enjoyed Fishing, fast cars and motorcycles, He loved animals and the Seahawks.

David’s proudest accomplishment was his beautiful daughter Riley who he was always so proud of.

David was survived by his daughter Riley his 4 sisters Ariel, Rikki, Crystal & Lisa. His mother Debra and step father Wade.

David’s family will be hosting a celebration of life on July 12th at Fern Hill Funeral Home at 1 PM.
