Caprice Lawrence, 51, Aberdeen resident and homemaker, died Monday, September 23, 2013 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen.
Caprice was born on May 23, 1962 in San Jose, CA to Raymond Button and Helen Anderson August. She moved with her family at age 2 to Aberdeen and has been here ever since.
She attended both Weatherwax High School and Grays Harbor College.
On November 17, 1979, Caprice married Denny Lawrence at Montesano Presbyterian Church.
Caprice was a stay at home mother raising not only her three sons but helping raise many more. She also worked for UPS until 1994.
She liked to work on puzzles, was an avid reader and most importantly enjoyed holding grandchildren close.
Caprice is survived by her husband of 33 years, Denny Lawrence, three sons and their wives: Kevin and Kristal, Eric and Alyssa, Jason and Bethany. Three grandchildren: Hailey, Ashley and Cole; father, Raymond and wife Charlotte Button, Mother: Helen August, brothers: Steve and Russ Button; nephews: Garrett and Connar and nieces: Caysie and Hannah.
A celebration of Caprice’s life will be held on Saturday October 5th at 2 PM in the River of Life Fellowship in South Aberdeen.
