Kathleen Kovach

Lifetime resident of Aberdeen, Kathleen Jo Kovach, died at Grays Harbor Community Hospital, Aberdeen, Saturday, March 21, 2015. Kathleen was born in Aberdeen, November 16, 1945, the daughter of Joseph and Kathryn (Childs) Vessey. She graduated from Weatherwax High School, Aberdeen, in 1964.

The family noted she really was a “stay-at-home-mom”, enjoying her children, her yard and gardening, reading and painting in oil and watercolors. She also did seasonal work at Ocean Spray, but her home and family was her life’s work.

Kathleen is survived by two daughters and their husbands: Keli Renee and Larry Lock, Snoqualmie, WA and Kari Jo and Brad Perry, Sammamish, WA; one granddaughter: Laura Perry; three brothers: Gary Vessey, in Arizona , Roy Vessey and Byron Vessey, Aberdeen.

A family celebration of her life is being planned for a later time.
