Nicholas Jett Karr, 23, Cosmopolis resident, 2009 graduate of Weatherwax High School, died Thursday morning, September 4, 2014 in Aberdeen,WA following a five year battle against cancer.
Nicholas was born on February 20, 1991 in Aberdeen to William Jett Karr and Kathleen Ray (VanBlaricom) Karr. He grew up in Aberdeen, WA. He played bass guitar and formed a band “Align the Masses” along with three of his high school friends. They recorded a CD, and played at ‘Studio 7’ in Seattle. He enjoyed mountain biking, snowboarding and skateboarding.
Nicholas is survived by his father, William and wife Nan Karr of Cosmopolis and his mother Kathleen Karr of Aberdeen; two brothers: Steven and Billy Karr both of Aberdeen; a grandmother, Joan Karr of Sapulpa, OK and girlfriend, Kate Johnson of Aberdeen.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, September 20th at the Aberdeen VFW Hall at 2:00 p.m.
