(Chester) Lee Jellesed III, 14, drowned June 12, 2012, after being pulled out to sea by an undertow off Cohassett Beach in Westport, Wash. He was the son of Millie Jellesed and Jeremy Roberts of rural Westport.
Lee was born in Aberdeen Jan. 30, 1998. He attended Ocosta Schools, and was completing the 8th grade at his passing.
Lee enjoyed video games, acting, music, camping, sports, hanging out with friends, family outings and school, especially participating in the Robotics Club.
Lee always had a smile and hugs for people and he touched many lives. He will be missed by all.
Lee is survived by his mom and dad at the family home; sisters Sarah, Autumn, Sammie Jo and Emily; brother Ashton; grandma Mary Mark; grandpa Chet Jellesed; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a ton of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert “Papa Greek” Mark.
A potluck memorial service for Lee will be held Sunday, July 8, at the Ocosta Recreation Hall. The doors will open at 4 p.m. with the service starting at 6 p.m.
Family members and friends are encouraged to attend and share special memories of Lee.
