Anthony “Tony” Jones Holden, 62, longtime Aberdeen resident, and former musician passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at his home. Tony was born on August 10, 1961, to loving parents, Helen and McClary Jones. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Jones Holden (11-7-22); brothers, Larry Wayne Jones (12/27/69), and Joseph Byron Jones (12/25/02); sister, Marilyn Jones (05/14/13); and stepfather, Willis Holden (05/13/99). He leaves to cherish his memory, children: Andrea Holden, Maria Holden, Antonio “Eric” Holden, Crystal Holden, and Seth Draves; grandchildren: Kai Beauford, Leala Jones, Ziya Aurand, Corric Moses, Maddox Holden, Silas Holden; sisters: Jaye Geraldine Mathews, of San Antonio, Texas; and Margaret B. Jones, of Galveston, Texas; brothers, Marcell Jones, of New York, New York; and Kevin Jones, of Natchitoches, Louisiana; Nieces: Nequarnda Dawson, Michelle Wright, Shalonda Johnson; nephews: Jason Jones, Bruce Wright, and Billy Williams; cousins, John and Joan Patterson; and close family friend, Paul Bento.
