Arnold Bruce Hipps, 54, Elma resident, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at his home in Elma.
Arnold was born on October 15, 1958 in Aberdeen to Thomas and Irene (Napiontek) Hipps. He grew up in the Satsop area and attended school in Elma.
He worked at various farms in the Chehalis Valley until he was injured.
Arnold married April Hillaire in June of 1990. She resides at the family home.
He liked to watch birds and the wildlife around his home. He also liked to spend time with his family.
Arnold is survived by his wife of 22 years, April Hipps of Elma; two daughters: Mary Hipps of Elma and Sandy Hipps-Olsen fo Midvale, Utah; Step-sons: Larry Burrows of Elma, Wally Burrows of Aberdeen and Robert Burrows of Ferndale, WA; Father Thomas Hipps of Satsop; two brothers: James Hipps of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Don Hipps of Tenino; Two sisters: Sharon Pratt and Bonnie Hipps of Elma; Four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Allen and Gary Hipps
There will be a celebration of Arnold's life on Wednesday, May 8th at 2 PM in Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.
