She was born on January 3, 1933 in Richland, Missouri to Deverett D. and Goldie Jane (Powers) Henson.
Bettie married James Murrel Hendrickson on August 22, 1951 in Plymouth, Illinois. James died on April 17, 1987.
Bettie is survived by a son, David D. Hendrickson of Aberdeen; a daughter, Tammie L. Costales of Caruthers, CA; a brother, Dale and wife Lee Henson of Humptulips; a sister, Georgia Bjustrom; 8 grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bettie was preceded in death by a son James M. Hendrickson, July 9, 2011
A gathering of friends and family will take place at 3 PM Sunday, Oct. 7th at Steward Park on “B” St. in Aberdeen,to honor both Bettie and her son James, Jr.
