Linda Lavern Graves, age 56, passed on Tuesday December 15, 2015, in Sutter County, CA. She was born on October 14, 1959 in Fresno, CA to Willie Mae (Primer) Pizzio and Jona Graves.
She was a graduate of Hoover High School in Fresno, CA and had worked many jobs in her lifetime. Linda truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family, hunting, and spending time with her brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews. Linda had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way.
Linda spent 25 years with her lifetime partner, Douglas Raub. They enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling to her in-laws home and lake home. Doug and Linda worked side-by-side for years in their construction company. She was a loyal lifetime partner. Doug and Linda loved to laugh and had a positive outlook on life. They did not require a lot of material objects but shared a love for each other and life. They could often be found helping friends and family with various home projects such as installing windows, painting and installing sheet rock. In the last 2 years before her passing, she was a caretaker to Doug as well as her mother leading up to their respective deaths. She was a caring person.
She is survived by her brother, Clifford Randolph, Elk Grove, CA, Steven Randolph Sr., Fresno, CA and Larry Lancaster, Los Angeles; and three sisters: Janet Williamson, Evelyn Spooner and Sharon McCafee, all of Sacramento, CA. Also uncle and aunts, Georgia Walker, Dorothy Williams and Cassie Sander, and a host of nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, loving mother Willie Mae and her father Jona Graves; her lifetime partner Douglas Raub; her grandparents William Primer and Ida Giles, her stepfather Frank Pizzio, her brother James Randolph Sr. her uncles James Primer, Leroy Primer, AB Primer, and Forest Primer.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Linda has touched are invited to Twibell’s Funeral Home Chapel, 2208 Roosevelt St., Aberdeen, Washington at Noon Friday, February 12th for a time to reminisce, grieve, support for each other and, of course enjoy in Linda’s memory. A reception will be held in the Dorothy Mann Reception Room at the funeral home.
Private inurnment will have taken place in Sunset Memorial Park, Hoquiam.
