Jodi September Frost-StLouis, 62, Aberdeen resident and former owner of Hanson’s Café downtown, died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver, WA.
Jodi was born on September 11, 1960 in San Jose, CA to Jack and Betty (Bulyca) Frost. For a few years they followed her father to wherever he was stationed in the Navy. They eventually moved to Cosmopolis and a few years later to Aberdeen. She attended Aberdeen schools and later obtained her GED.
She married Mark Hanson in Montesano in April of 1985. They later divorced.
On October 31, 2002, Jodi married Robert StLouis in Aberdeen. He passed away on September 14, 2011.
Jodi worked at the Aberdeen Eagles for many years as a BarTender and also in many other places in the area. She was a member of the 40 et 8 in Aberdeen. She was an artist and took pride in her artwork. She also enjoyed making jewelry and shopping and spending time with her grandkids.
Jodi is survived by her son, Foster Hanson of Aberdeen; a daughter, Amber (Jeremy) Thorp of Aberdeen; three grandchildren: Michelle Prieto-Hanson, Ivy Mae Thorp and Willow Dawn Thorp. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Ivy Frost-Veckich and Chris Frost.
There will be a gathering of friends and family at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, WA.
