Kevin Kelly Fredrickson, 48, longtime Oakville resident and Foreman for Rognlin’s Inc in Aberdeen, died Sunday morning, February 28, 2016 at his home outside Oakville, WA.

Kevin was born on March 30, 1967 in Olympia to Neill N. and Harriet R. (Einert) Fredrickson. He lived in McCleary for a while before moving to Oakville where he graduated from Oakville High School in 1986. He then went to work as a logger and then went to Bates Voc-Tech in Tacoma, WA where he supplemented his apprenticeship as a Millwright. He went to work for Mayr Brothers and then for Rognlin’s in 1996 where he has worked until his passing.

On September 7, 1991, Kevin married Renee L. Everson in Malone, WA. She resides at the family home.

Kevin was a long time member of the Carpenters Union and IAM. In the past Kevin was a volunteer firefighter with District #5. He loved hunting in Montana, duck hunting with his dog, fishing, clam digging with his family and hitting the dunes with his ATV’s. On the weekends you could find him having coffee at Jag’s.

Kevin is survived by his wife of 24 years, Renee Fredrickson of Oakville; mother Harriet Fredrickson of Oakville; son, Carter Fredrickson and daughter Kyla Fredrickson of Oakville; brother, Roy Fredrickson of Oakville; sisters: Jolene Rabey of Oakville, Virginia Smith of Tenino, Cara Fredrickson of Centralia and Pam McCaslin of Tenino.

A celebration of life will take place at the Rotary Log Pavilion, Aberdeen, WA on March 11th at 2 pm.
