Rita Jeanne Jackson Finegan passed away on November 8, 2023, in her home of Centralia due to health issues.
Rita was born in Olympia on July 2, 1951, to Robert E. Jackson and Edna L. Jackson. She is preceded in death by both parents, her sister, Eileen Jackson Horn, and her brother, Gilbert C. Jackson. She is survived by one brother in Olympia, Gary R. Jackson: one half-sister in Boise, Idaho, Sharon Jackson Wheeler, four nieces, one nephew, two great nieces, one great nephew, and three great-great nephews.
She graduated from North Thurston High School in 1969 and worked in the dental field until retirement. She lived most of her life in Washington State near Olympia. Rita had a great love for all animals, and she especially loved the outdoors and spending time at the ocean beaches.
