Marjorie Falk

Marjorie Ann Falk, a longtime resident of Grays Harbor, died at Pacific Care Center January 12, 2013. She was 84. She was born in Winlock, WA November 30, 1928, to Raymond T. and Bernice C. (Edmonds) Nelmes. She was raised in Winlock graduating high school there.

Marjorie married Robert Hill in 1948 making their first home in Aberdeen. They later moved to Montesano and opened Bob's Meat Market. They divorced in 1962. She married Richard Davies and following their divorce she married Carl Falk where they lived in Hoquiam until his death in 1993.

Marjorie loved collecting antiques and garage sale hunting with her husband, Carl. She was so enthusiastic about getting to a garage sale first and finding the best treasures she would show up at 6 AM regardless of what time it opened. Marjorie was a member of the United Christian Church.

Two sons survive Marjorie: Donald Hill and Troy Davies, both of Hoquiam, and a daughter Judy (Don) Milbourn of Montesano. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents, a daughter Heidi Lorton, a brother Ray E. Nelmes and a sister Betty Beedle.

Interment will take place with her husband, Carl, in Fern Hill Cemetery. At her request there will be no formal services.
