Lillian Estelle Durrin, 91, lifetime Aberdeen resident and member of Calvary Lutheran Church, died December 24, 2013 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen.
Lillian was born on January 24, 1922 in Aberdeen to Gus and Stella (Johnson) Wellman. She graduated from Aberdeen’s Weatherwax High School in 1941.
On March 14, 1942, Lillian Married Raymond c. Durrin in Aberdeen. He passed away on March 20, 1990.
Lillian was a homemaker and was active in the local PTA, Girl and Boy Scouts when her children were active. She also was active with the Grays Harbor Election Board. She loved to sew, crochet and being with the grandkids. She also liked to go camping.
Lillian is survived by two sons: Raymond F. and wife Prissy Durrin of Lonestar, TX and Barry E. and wife Peggy Durrin of Aberdeen; a daughter Susan and husband Ken Strunk of Montesano; Ten grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded by a great grandson and her husband.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Fern Hill Funeral Home. Inurnment took place at Fern Hill Cemetery, Aberdeen.
