Travis Carroll Ray Dally, 25, Aberdeen resident and yardman for Sierra Pacific and former tree faller for Bonnell Tree Works, died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Travis was born on October 19, 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska to Dale Thomas and Andrea Lynn Louise (Church) Dally. He moved from Chugiak, Alaska and moved to Olympia at age 4 and then to Aberdeen eleven years ago.

On March 19, of this year, Travis married Alicia Kathleen Clarkson at the Aberdeen Rotary Log Pavilion. She resides at the family home.

Travis worked for Sierra Pacific for the last year. Before that at Bonnell Tree Works for two and half years and as a commercial fisherman on the Sadie Marie out of Westport for four years.

Travis enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and just being outdoors. He loved his family, listening to country music and was a proud Redneck.

Travis’s motto for life was “Go Big or Go Home!”

Travis is survived by his wife of 9 months, Alicia Clarkson of Aberdeen; a daughter, Ashlynn Brown of Rochester; step-son, Riley Thrasher of Aberdeen; mother, Andrea Church of Aberdeen; brother, Andrew T. Dally and his companion Vanessa Gandy of Aberdeen; three sisters: Josephine A.I. Dally of Aberdeen, Tasha Czichas of Lacey, WA and Melissa Czichas of Olympia, WA; three nieces: Rene, Natalie and Izzabella Dally, also a nephew: Tristan Inman of Olympia, WA.

Travis will be greatly missed and was loved by many.

A memorial service is being planned for later and details will follow in The Daily World.
