Gerald, “Jerry” Eugene Beglinger, 53, Elma resident, and former logger passed away on January 24, 2023, in Elma, Washington.

Jerry was born on December 11, 1969, to parents Gabriel and Sarah (York) Beglinger in Ketchikan, Alaska. Jerry and his family moved to various cities around Alaska before moving to Hoquiam, Washington. He attended Hoquiam High School and made some lifelong friendships. He later received his GED. Jerry was known for being a logger. He worked as a timber cutter for multiple companies across the coast. Jerry later had 7 children: Kayla, Kolton, Jarrin, Jerry, Teysha, Brianna, Annalissa, and Damien.

He enjoyed camping, swimming, and riding ATV’s. He loved anything to do with the outdoors. Jerry’s biggest enjoyment was his family, who he loved very dearly.

Jerry is preceded in death by his son, Kolton, and his parents.

Jerry is survived by his children: Kayla Beglinger, of Olympia, Washington, Jarrin, out of California, Jerry Beglinger, of Elma, Washington, Teysha Beglinger, of Raymond, Washington, Brianna Beglinger, of Elma, Washington, and his youngest children: Annalissa and Damien; brothers, Gabriel Beglinger, of Montesano, Washington, and Casey Beglinger, of Elma, Washington; 9 grandchildren: Kaydence, Ryland, Cayson, Levi, Brooklyn, Moxxi, Alexandra, Syren, and Dean; and nieces: Gabby, Stephanie, and Kendra.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM located at Events on Emerson, 212 4th Street, Hoquiam, WA 98550. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.
