Dale Howard Beavers, 72, lifetime Grays Harbor resident passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam, Washington.

Dale was born on April 21, 1951 to Jerry Beavers and Donna (Dayton) Beavers in Aberdeen, Washington. He was raised in the Carlisle area, graduating from Moclips High School in 1969. After school, he went to work for some time and later met Julie Gaddis. They married on September 17, 1971. Dale then joined the Army in 1975. After completing basic training, he and Julie were stationed in various places such as: Texas, Germany, and Korea. They enjoyed being able to see the world, but after Dale's discharge in 1980, the couple moved back to the Harbor. Dale went to work for Grays Harbor Paper Mill and continued to work until their shut down. The couple had 4 daughters: Cindy, Kristy, Brandy, and Suzy. Dale and Julie later settled in Hoquiam, Washington.

Dale was a lifetime member of the Hoquiam VFW, and a past member of the Eagles.

He enjoyed taking drives, going to the casino, and watching sports, both college and professional. He loved to hunt, especially his yearly hunting trips with his family in Eastern Washington. Dale’s greatest joys were with his family.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents: Jerry and Donna Beavers; sisters: Carol, Patty, and Jeanne; and his daughter, Brandy Beavers, who passed away in 1976.

Dale is survived by his wife of 51 years, Julie Beavers, who resides in the family home; daughters; Suzy (John) Hyde, of Ariel, Washington; Cindy Beavers, of Hoquiam, Washington; Kristy Florek, of Aberdeen, Washington; and a granddaughter they raised from birth, Crystal Beavers. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry Beavers, of Aberdeen, Washington; sister, Debbie Shaw, of Hoquiam, Washington; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 24, at 1:00pm, located at the Hoquiam VFW.
