Obituary for Kirk Philip Stoddard

Kirk Philip Stoddard, 78, of Cosmopolis, WA, passed away December 1, 2022. Kirk confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Kirk’s Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Thursday the 29th of December 2022. The service will be help at Tahoma National Cemetery at 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042.

He was born to the late Philip and Marguerite Stoddard, October 28, 1944, in Seattle, WA. After graduating from High School, Kirk joined the US Marine Corps in 1964. Kirk was at Camp Pendleton and overseas missions’ assignments took him as far as Morocco.

After the military, Kirk married his first wife Margaret Ann Johnson Stoddard who was also a military veteran (Navy). Kirk enjoyed working in skilled trades jobs and was employed working on aircraft interior assembly for the Boeing Company and in carpentry for various other companies over the years.

A message that Kirk wanted to share is his love for each and everyone of his family members including his brother Mark Stoddard, Uncle Glen Stoddard and family and all his children and grandchildren and extended family and friends. Kirk left the greater Norman Oklahoma area the year 2016 to relocate back to Washington State to be closer to his younger children in the greater Seattle area. Kirk’s out of state children include the oldest daughter in the Dallas Fort Worth, TX area and a stepdaughter in the Goldsby, Oklahoma area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Marguerite Stoddard of Seattle, WA; and wife, Hilda Ann Bebout Stoddard of Goldsby, Oklahoma.
