Obituary for Kenneth Allen "Ken" Hale Sr.

Kenneth Allen Hale, Sr., 72, Aberdeen resident and former automotive mechanic, died Sunday, December 18, 2022 at his home in Aberdeen.
Ken was born on October 24, 1950 in Chicago, ILL to James and Irene (Delano) Hale. His family moved to the harbor when he was 8 and he graduated from Weatherwax High School in 1968. He went to Bates Vocational College where he graduated with a certificate in Automotive Technology.
He enjoyed fishing and watching football. His passion in life was his ten grandchildren.
Ken is survived by a son Kenneth Hale Jr. of Aberdeen; a daughter, Kimberley (Abel Salas) Hale of Aberdeen and a step-daughter, Mandy (Greg) Goulie of Aberdeen and life partner Debbra Hale; grandchildren: Alyssa Hale, Maria Hale, Kaitlin Clark, Nathan Schroeder, Dillen Espana, Kenneth Hale III, Nekitia Espana, Szander Frasier, Marcus Hale and Ezekil Goulie; great grandchildren: Kari Peterson, Mylah Hale, Zuleima Hale and Leo Hale. Ken was preceded in death by a son Kraig Hale and Michael Frazier, a brother, James Hale and two sisters, Sue Hale and Sandy McFadden.
There will be a celebration of life on January 7, 2023 at Harbor City Church from 11 to 1 PM followed by a potluck reception at The Ocosta Rec Hall.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, WA
