Obituary for Chastity Dawn Delarenzo (Carlile)

“There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, their light remains. Your love and light lives inside us all.”

Chastity Dawn Delarenzo, age 51, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on the morning of March 14, 2022, in Aberdeen, Washington.

Chastity was born on November 17, 1970, in Portland, Oregon, to Darlene Carlile and Donald Eaton. She attended elementary and middle school in Oregon City, and high school in Sandy, Oregon. Growing up in Oregon, she had a love for sports. She was the pitcher for her softball team and was also on the volleyball team. Chastity had a passion for fashion and was going to school to be a fashion designer but half way through her courses she found her true calling, to follow in the footsteps of her grandmother, Mary, and her aunt Barbara, to do God’s work in ministry. So, she left Oregon and moved to Toledo, Washington, where she opened up the C.U.R.E., (Christians United Reaching Everyone) right out of her garage. That is where it began and eventually, she settled in Aberdeen, Washington to become a pastor. She had such a deep love for Jesus, and a heart made of gold. She had so much love for everyone. She helped out those in need, whether it was an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on, or a warm place to rest with a meal. She held Christmas parties every year for the community, she gave out many presents, food, warm clothing, and out poured her love to all. As the oldest of 5 children, Chastity was all about family. She enjoyed hiking, camping, sports with her children, and helping the community. Her house was always full of love, laughter, and lots of kids. She was the neighborhood mom. In the midst of all the chaos, she still smiled. She was an amazing mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She will be missed more than can be put into words.

Chastity is survived by: her daughter, Filomena; son, Jessie; 3 adopted children, Dessere, Jonah, and Steven; brothers, Joshua and Robby; sister, Cara; father, Donald Eaton; stepfather, Paul Carlile; Perry, whom she had been a caregiver to for over 20 years, numerous nieces and nephews; and her beautiful grandchildren, Jasmine, Adrianna, and Gavin. Her grandchildren were her whole world. There is so much more to her story but nearly enough time or space to describe just how amazing Chastity truly was. So, until then, watch over us and we will see you again at Heaven’s Gates, where we know you will be waiting for us with your loving embrace.

Chastity is preceded in death by her mother, Darlene; sister, Cherish; brother, Justin; and beloved son, Richard, who only passed just 6 months before her.

There will be a celebration of life announced at a later date. We will reach out to all Chastity’s family and friends with an exact time and date for her celebration.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home, in Aberdeen, Washington.
