Obituary for Gregory Dell Sanchez
On December 7, 2021, Gregory Dell Sanchez passed away at the age of 28.
Greg was a kind, loving, handsome man. He would light up a room with his silly smile and sense of humor. In the last few months of his life, he was able to enjoy his hard-earned sobriety. The clarity achieved by his success provided him with both motivation and joy. He had a deep appreciation for the wonderful support from his family, friends, and especially his mom.
Greg loved animals, and his dog Jackson held a very special place in his life and his heart. Jackson stayed by Greg's side through the good times and the struggles. Jackson was his buddy, his wingman, his loyal friend. His passing was traumatic for Greg.
The biggest supporter of Greg's sobriety was his best friend, his mom. They spent his final days together, laughing, reminiscing, and enjoying a meaningful conversation. They were able to express their love for one another and share their strength and support for each other.
Greg is survived by his loving mom Shanna Whitchurch, his dad Steve (Rachael) Rasmus, biological father David Sanchez Jr, daughter Lynn Mary Sanchez and sister Brynn Rasmus. He leaves behind Grandpa Gary Whitchurch, Grandparents Dale (Barbara) Rasmus, Biological Grandma Marta Birkholz, his Uncle Greg (Angel) Whitchurch, Uncle Jeff (Dorine) Whitchurch, Uncle Bryn Rasmus, Uncle Kyle Rasmus, Uncle Jason Mikelson, and Aunt Sara Stewart. He also leaves behind cousins Zachary, Carly and Zoey Whitchurch, and Torri (Kyle) Knight. He leaves behind close friends Jeff (Teri) Noffisinger and many more. He is predeceased by his Grandma Lynn Whitchurch and cousin Nathan Stewart.
