I had the pleasure of working with Helena at Wal-Mart in Aberdeen. She was always so cheerful , helpful and so sincere. She could always make you laugh. I remember when she came to our Christmas Party at the skating rink and fell and hurt her hand. Only Helena could have a good laugh over that and be so positive. I offer my condolences to her family and I am so sorry for your loss. She loved you all so much. RIP Helena- you will be missed by all your loyal customers, associates &family.

I am so sad to hear of Helena's passing. She attended my spinning class faithfully at the YMCA. She was setting health goals and attaining them, which included training for the Y's indoor triathlon. When she found out I was pregnant, she was excited to make a quilt for our baby girl. She brought in pieces of fabric and had me pick the colors and patterns I liked best. Her quilt rests on the back of my rocking chair, where my baby can see and touch the colorful patterns as I rock her. I didn't see her again after I had my baby, because I didn't come back to teach. But I want you to know, I will always remember her. She always had a smile and a laugh to share.
