Condolence From: Neil P.

Condolence: I had the privilege of being in Mr. Woodwick's 5th grade class. He was funny and engaging, and quickly became my favorite teacher, a title he holds to this day.

One of the best things about being in Mr. Woodwick's class was listening to him read great stories. I still remember his reading of The Tell Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe. He told it with such drama and enthusiasm that it scared the crap out of the class. We loved it!

Imagine my surprise, decades later and working at Microsoft, to see Mr. Woodwick on a crew performing office moves! I recognized him immediately and had to run out in the hallway and gush to his fellow crew member all about what a great teacher Larry was (I think I embarrassed him a little).

I am sorry to learn of Mr. Woodwick's passing and offer my sincere condolences to his family.
