Condolence From: Chris Delia Riippa
Condolence: We value the friends we grew up with. Arlene and her sisters and brothers were a fun part of my childhood. Chasing flying ants in the big tree across from our houses, making a home/fort in the bushes, playing Larrys 45's when he wasn't home....all good memories. We drifted apart after high school and reconnected on FB just a few years ago. Arlene was a beautiful person. She will always hold a special place in my heart. To her family; I wish I could be with you all but am laid up from a recent surgery. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. All my love

Condolence: Arlene was certainly full of fun! She loved her coffee and couldn't even function in the morning without her first cup! When I think of Arlene, I think of coffee, her cats, the beach, garage sales, her love of her family and wishing they could be closer, leopard print, chiffon clothing, and the colors in Ostrich feathers! Arlene also graduated from Dewitt's Beauty School and was a beautician for many years. She had a lot of elderly clients she called "my ladies." I was her first official haircut when I was a child and I believe she cut each hair individually as I was sitting in the chair for hours! She had a lot of friends, and we should all be as lucky to have a friend like Linda West. Thank you for helping her, Linda. We should all be so lucky as to have a friend like you were to Arlene. We love Arlene and will miss her terribly. I hope her Dad had something in his lunchbox for her when she arrived!
