I'm terribly sorry to hear of your loss. When we lose someone we love so dearly words cannot express the agony we feel on the inside. We feel the impression of their presence every day but we know that they are gone. Death is the cruelest of all pain. Is there any hope for the future? To live forever without sickness and death? God promises us this at Revelation 21:4, he says, "and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Many people might confuse that scripture with conditions in heaven. Yes, heaven is free from all things wicked but God has another purpose for us. Psalms 37:29 says "The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it". God created humans to live on earth and enjoy life. What about those who have passed away?
