Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of Gene's passing. She reviewed all of my books; then we met in person at my book signing in Taholah many years ago, which she helped arrange. We kept in touch off and on ever since. I am sorry we never got to keep the visit together that we always planned to do but it never came to pass. I have her book Island Girl and am so proud that she included me on her dedication page. I will miss her greatly. I wish her family peace and love.

Condolence: Our North Beach - Grays Harbor Historian has moved on to record history for others.
Gene, we had a great visit in November....that memory will live on in my heart. I would share how I envied her writing and always looked forward to her Daily World articles...I always wanted to be a journalist...but we would laugh at how the job paid.
Be at Peace Gene....until we meet again~
