Condolence: She has traded in a world-weary and worn container for a newer and speedier conveyance, and she flies on. There is no tragedy in the conclusion of a life well-lived, but there is loss. I will miss her.
Condolence: So sorry to hear of Diane's passing. We both came back to the Harbor in the early 80's, and had a lot of fun, during many chamber and Rotary events, The Tall Ships project, as well as time's out at the Ocean Beaches. Sadly, I haven't been around much in the last few years. Diane and her children were great Harborites and good friends. You'll be missed.
Condolence: Anyone who shared a friendship with Diane should feel lucky. I am proud to say, I was one of those lucky ones to have been blessed with that. I will always cherish every minute of the time spent with her & regret now & wish there had been more.
I was saddened to read of her passing but know she is happy & in a better place. Without a doubt she is smiling down on us with that ever present smile.
Our friendship went back many years ago & sadly with time & circumstances we lost contact. Some of our most happiest times were during the 1989 Centennial & the building & completion of the Tall Ships. My husband Bob was a Legislator at that time so she & I spent a lot of time together. She often was with Bob & I at many functions here in Aberdeen & at the State Capital. Being attractive & her fun loving personality always caught the attention of many.
If it wasn't for Diane, I would not have been educated on Truffles ! I had never heard of this mushroom. We shared many laughs on this one.
Her love of family, especially Dawn & Robby was never ending. She could talk about them for hours. Yes, she is in a happier place, but will be missed.
My love, heart & prayers go out to the family during this very difficult time. I am so happy she was in my life.....!
