Condolence From: Bob and Janie Rose

Condolence: Rogene and Family,
What fun we all had on the fishing trips to Old Harbor! You and Dick made a great pair! Our trips were always unpredictable and full of surprises! Sorry Dick has passed and all of you will have to learn a new way going forward. I can't think of a harder classroom than this and that class will be one that all of us will have to go through some day. I don't think any of us are prepared when that day comes but everyone seems to make it in their own way. We send you our sincere sympathy with prayers that one day a day will come and you will realize that you can remember all the happy times without quite so much pain. Sincerely, Bob and Janie Rose

Condolence: So sorry that Dick is gone, I will miss him. Enjoyed a lot of great conversations with him at his gun shop and he certainly helped me improve my gun collection. He and I always agreed on political matters, and it was great fun listening to him expound on those subjects.

Condolence: Dick was definitely an all around GREAT guy who truly loved his family, friends and supporting young people and in particular their interests in hunting. He was in inspiration and reminded me of my father in how he cared for others and loved the outdoors. He will be missed but never forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go out to Rogene and the entire Gates family. I know I can speak for everyone when I say we were truly blessed to have Dick in our lives.
