Obituary for Jonette Brulotte (Didericksen)

Jonette Brulotte (66) of Elma, Washington was surrounded by her husband and children as she passed away on October 29, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer. Jonette was born in Brigham City, UT on July 27, 1952 to Betty and Lytle Didericksen. She grew up in Tremonton, UT and attended Bear River High School ('70). After graduation, she attended Utah State University in Logan, UT. In 1975 Jonette took a position with the U.S. Forest Service in Randle, WA. On March 5, 1977 she and George Edward Brulotte of Yakima, WA were married. She soon left her job to focus on raising her family, which grew to include six children. Jonette found joy in motherhood and developed talents such as baking, cooking, sewing, gardening, and preserving food. To those closest to her, she is known for her chocolate chip cookies, homemade bread, orange rolls, chocolate fudge sauce, and melt-in-your-mouth fudge. She also enjoyed spoiling her grandkids with treasure hunts and pinatas. She had a strong testimony of the Lord and served in various capacities as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She most recently served in the Church as the local president of the Relief Society, a women's charitable organization.

She is survived by her husband George Edward Brulotte and their children: Jackson Edward, Jessica Shannon Bolles (Jared), Benjamin Lytle, Natalie Rose, Vanessa Jane, and Johanna Lynn; mother Betty Lou Didericksen; siblings Rick Didericksen (Paula), Shane Didericksen, Shannon Ellis (Clark); in-laws Dan Brulotte, Yvonne Seemer (Wayne), Teresa Zeller (Rob); and grandchildren Evelyn, Benjamin, Matthew, Annalea, Levi, and Claire. She is preceded in death by her father, Lytle Wendell Didericksen, sister, Sherry Allred, and parents-in-law Betty Jane Brulotte and George Ovide Brulotte.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 3rd at 2 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Church, building located at 702 E Main St, Elma, WA 98541. Burial will take place at Fairmount Memorial Park in Spokane, WA on November 5, 2018 at 10:30 am. Messages of condolence or memories may be sent to the family at www.fernhillfuneral.com.
