Condolence: Karen, the you young girl next door, who kept in touch throughout the years with a Christmas card, sometimes enclosing small artistic seed packets from her garden We shared a love of plants and flowers. I loved her picture/posts on face book of beaches, skies, birds, deer and flowers. She could capture the beauty of the moment.
This past Christmas I was dismayed to hear she had ended treatment. Couldn't find the right words to offer comfort. Had it been reversed she wouldn't have had any trouble saying just the right thing. She was a dear friend and much loved.

Condolence: Karen - One of those rare and wonderful people who make you a finer person just by being in your life...and someone who will be sorely missed, never forgotten, and somehow always there with us. A true pioneer spirit - a can-do gal - to the very end!! Her heart was her engine, and her smile her trademark. Our love for and from Karen lives on!
