Condolence: To Scott, Tom, Rex, the grandkids, and the rest of the immediate family of which I never came to meet through the years.
I learned of Leroy's passing as I read the local newspaper. My heartfelt condolences are with you and I am sorry for your loss.
I always enjoyed Leroy's sense of humor. He was generally "blunt" with opinion, and many times he would chuckle at your not understanding "his" point.
Leroy, ride through the clouds while on your journey to be with your life partner. Phylis is waiting your arrival. I'm sure she will greet you, smiling when your flight arrives, as you take her side for the rest of eternity. May the stars show you the way.
Condolence: Dear Uncle Sonny, It's taken me a while to wrap my mind around loosing you, so I'm late in sending this. But you know that you are my hero. The honor of growing up around you on your ranch are memories that no one can ever take away. You taught me so, so much and how you put up with me tagging along with you and the constant questions, I'll never know. But I will never forgive you for laughing at me when I tripped on a hard piece of cow manure and landed in a soft one at Grandma and Grandpa's. Only to you was it funny. Ok, I can laugh now and I'm sure you are too! On this day, Veterans Days, I thank you for your service. I will never forget the last few phone conversations we had as we got to talk about so many things and I hold those conversations close to my heart. One thing that I will always remember was that you told me that I could do it, and by God, I did it. Thanks to you! God's Speed to you and give Michael and Phyllis a hug from me. Love you forever and thank you for being my very special uncle. See ya when I see ya.
Condolence: Scott, I am thinking about you and Joshua and Jeremy as you process the loss of your father and grandfather. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Cheryl
Condolence: I have so many fond/funny memories of Sonny/Leroy! Hold tight to those you have and he will never be far away. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs, Jackie Senf (niece)
