Obituary for LeRoy Earl Senf

LeRoy Earl Senf, 81, resident of Aberdeen, WA, passed away on November 4, 2014, in Seattle, WA after a battle with cancer.
Mr. Senf was born on March 19, 1933 to Otto and Gladys (Hayner)Senf and was raised in Sheldon, ND and lived there and worked as a cattle truck driver and farmer. He served in the US Army from 1956 to 1959. He served in Korea. He was discharged as an E-4. In the late 1960’s he moved to Washington and worked as a painter. He worked in various places in WA and Oregon until settling in Aberdeen.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis, son, Michael, and parents, Otto and Gladys (Hayner)Senf. He leaves behind him four sons, Rex Taylor of Yelm, WA, Tom Starkweather of Yelm, Dale Starkweather of Montana and Scott Senf of Yelm, WA, nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren, a brother, Leon Senf of West Fargo, ND, and sisters, Deloris Olson of Brooklyn Center, MN, Lorraine Sandvig of Silverdale, WA and Cheryl Lindberg, of Allen, TX.
Here will be a time of visitation on Thursday from 1-8 PM in Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen. The funeral will be at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Military honors will be given at the graveside following the service. Memorials can be sent to the SIDs Foundation.
