Patty Friberg, age 82, passed on to be with her precious Savior on July 15, 2014 in Hoquiam. She began her life journey September 11, 1931 in Hoquiam. She moved to Lacey, WA in 1987 where she resided for 25 years. She was very active within her church family as well as community charities. She is survived by her daughters, Shannon Rouse, Donna Jeanne Williams, Kathy Payton and her son, David Friberg. The Lord also blessed her with 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Patty is also survived by her brother Bill Rochon and her sister, Barbara Suslick and numerous nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.
Her sole aspiration in life was to be a good mother as well as to be a reflection of her savior, Jesus. She lived to see all of her children and grandchildren realize their spiritual and heavenly destiny. As stated in Proverbs 31:28, “Her children arise and call her blessed.”
A celebration of her life at the Light and Life Community Church 2740 Simpson Ave., Hoquiam, at 1 PM Wednesday, July 23rd. A reception will follow.
