Condolence: Betty was kind and had a rare quiet generosity.

When I was a child and lived in Washington State Betty always offered her home as a special place for our family to gather on the holidays. Since our family was fractured, Christmas was particularly poignant as it was one of the few constants, and she was the glue that brought us together. As kids we might not have expressed our gratitude like we could have, but we all felt it and still feel it today. We all think and speak of her frequently and are thankful for her part in our lives.

She will be missed.
